Azuma Ichi junmai ginjo is a fine, dry, fruity nihonshu sake. Produced in the south of Japan, on the island of Kyushu, it is a rather generous and exuberant spirit compared to the more traditional sakes from the north of the country. Very well-balanced, it is marked by notes of melon and lends itself very well to tasting during a meal.
