This single estate cognac comes from the vineyards of the late Mr Garraud in Chérac-Borderies and was aged for 30 years in French oak barrels in his personal cellar. Mr Garraud was a friend of Bache-Gabrielsen, a passionate winemaker and cognac expert with whom the company had worked for decades.
The winter of 1993 was marked by bitterly cold, dry weather, followed by a mild, rainy spring. This particular climate forced the vines to grow and produce their best grapes.
Tasting at room temperature will allow you to fully appreciate the remarkable depth and rich complexity of this cognac, allowing its aromas and velvety texture to unfold harmoniously with each sip.
