"Ben Nevis has become an emblematic malt among enthusiasts, combining the richness and structure of forgotten malts while offering bursts of fruit. The distillery’s somewhat stubborn yet wonderful insistence on using brewer’s yeast during fermentation, alongside a generally slower approach to spirit production, is fully revealed in this 28-year-old vintage. Elixir Distillers presents Act Two of the Macbeth series, a collection of forty-two whiskies, each embodying a character from Shakespeare’s tragedy.
Ross is one of the twelve noble malts in The Thanes series. This single malt was matured in refill hogsheads.
