Benriach Malting Season celebrates the malting floors at the heart of the Benriach distillery, which have been in operation for over 120 years and are a historic part of the distillery. Each year, during the malting season, teams malt barley on site in the old-fashioned way in this historic malt house. The malt produced during this exercise gives the single malt an exceptional richness and character, a tribute to founder John Duff and his team of passionate craftsmen. This third edition is made entirely on site, starting with the hand malting of Concerto barley and finishing with a slow maturation in bourbon and new oak casks.
