Benromach single malts are made using a manual method based on the skills of the master distillers, and aged exclusively in first-fill casks.
The Benromach bottlings' identity salutes the history and authenticity of this distillery founded in 1898, with the red cap symbolising the iconic chimney and the logo, inspired by a sign formerly placed on the pagoda roof.
This bottling, distilled in 2012 and bottled brut de fût, is a real little aromatic bomb. Aged only in first-fill ex-bourbon and oloroso sherry casks, it reveals powerful notes of spice, candied black and red fruits and chocolate. Like almost all Benromach expressions, it has a slightly smoky character of great refinement. A very fine single malt available in a limited edition.
