Bunnahabhain is a Scottish distillery located on the Isle of Islay, founded in 1881. Unlike most distilleries on the island, it stands out for producing whiskies that are lightly peated or not peated at all. Crafted using pure spring water and often matured in sherry casks, its expressions offer soft, fruity, and slightly salty aromas. Bunnahabhain 12 Year Old is a great example, renowned for its balance and depth.
