Founded in 1846 on the Isle of Islay, Caol Ila overlooks the Sound of Islay. Renowned for its fine marine peat, it has long supplied Johnnie Walker's blends. Despite a complete rebuild in 1974, it retains a distinctive style: smoky, salty, balanced. Today, its single malts appeal to connoisseurs and independent bottlers alike.
