This exceptional box set brings together five vintage rums from the final casks of the legendary Caroni distillery. Each 20 cl bottle, a true collector’s item, is adorned with original artwork by Trinidadian artist Che Lovelace. Through this selection, the story of a rum legend unfolds. Closed in the early 2000s, the Trinidad and Tobago distillery resurfaced in 2004 when Luca Gargano, head of Velier, discovered hundreds of forgotten casks there, revealing a unique and heavy style of rum to the entire world. In 2019, the final casks left the island for the Cognac region, where their contents were transferred into demijohns following the “Paradis” tradition of Cognac cellars—thus giving this collection its name.
This set contains 5 bottles of 20cl:
• CARONI 1996 Paradise #13 Cask #5607
• CARONI 1994 Paradise #14 Cask #6133
• CARONI 1996 Paradise #15 Cask #3801
