The latest single malt from Chichibu marks the return of the "On the Way" concept, previously used by the distillery before the release of their 10-year-old whisky three years ago. The recurring use of the "On the Way" concept demonstrates Chichibu's commitment to experimenting and perfecting its products before reaching a significant milestone. This latest single malt could therefore be a step towards an older whisky or a special expression of their craftsmanship and local terroir.
Floor Malting: This single malt is made from 100% floor-malted barley, a traditional process that highlights Chichibu's artisanal craftsmanship, firstly implemented in 2008.
Aging: Among several whiskies, Chichibu especially selected the ones that allow us to taste the richness of the barley, from 9 to 15 years old, with casks of Bourbon Barrel, Sherry Puncheon, Mizunara Hogshead, Wine Cask, Chibidaru (Original Quarter).
Limited with 2400 bottles with gift box
Enhanced by the environment of Chichibu, the whiskies are non-chill filtered and non-coloured.
