Citadelle is the first gin to be distilled in copper stills from Charente. Its progressive infusion method is also unprecedented: each of the 19 aromatics in the recipe is added at different times during a maceration that takes place over 4 days, while the alcohol content is gradually reduced. The aim is to preserve the organoleptic qualities and capture the ultimate flavour of each berry, spice and citrus fruit. On the palate, Citadelle Original offers a complete aromatic richness. Juniper is Citadelle's signature flavour from the outset. It then gives way to a voluptuous citrus fragrance that underlines it. The finish is more exotic, with a long, spicy finish thanks to touches of pepper, nutmeg and cinnamon. This eco-pocket format of 2.8L means we can offer our quality gin with 80% less carbon impact than a bottle format!
