Artist Blend is a blend of malt and grain whiskies, designed by John Glaser, founder of Compass Box. The proportion of malt to grain, approximately 50%-50%, demonstrates the importance given to malt in the final recipe. As for the choice of single malts, the Northern Highlands were favoured for the fresh and fruity flavours they provide. The label is inspired by the Scottish National Gallery in Edinburgh, a famous art museum with a large number of paintings and sculptures. A tribute to the artist John Glaser and his vision of blending.
