This limited edition is the third instalment in the annual “The Harvest” series, highlighting the encounter between the Cotswold landscape, painting and whisky! Each bottle in the Harvest series bears the signature of a talented artist, paying tribute to the allure of the Cotswolds through the fusion of painting and whisky blending.
For this third opus, it's Cotswold-born painter Lucy Pratt whose work is honored. On this bottling tube, she faithfully depicts the autumnal colors characteristic of the landscape around the distillery at this most important time in the agricultural calendar.
Imagined to reflect the serenity of the Cotswold landscape as depicted in Lucy Pratt's painting, Amber Meadow is a light, fruity and indulgent whisky. A blend of whiskies aged in both bourbon and moscatel casks, it also features a subtle touch of peat. This soft, mellow profile is as harmonious as the Cotswold landscape around the distillery at the end of a fine summer, and beautifully enhances the complex, fruity character of Cotswolds single malt.
