EDDU 15 year old Brittany whisky comes from a family distilling tradition that has been rooted in Plomelin for over a century.
In 1999, thanks to Guy Le Lay, EDDU was born, a whisky made exclusively from IGP buckwheat of the Harpe variety, harvested in Brittany.
In the meantime, Guy has passed on his passion to his three sons: Erwan, Kevin and Loig, the custodians of this unique know-how, of which EDDU 15 ans is one of the jewels.
With its fluidity and suppleness, EDDU 15 ans evokes the meanders - or Vire-Court - of the Odet as it meanders towards the ocean.
Aged exclusively in French oak casks, this pure buckwheat Brittany whisky boasts an intense nose, with hints of curry and candied fruit. Its round, gourmet palate offers a long, unctuous finish.
