Located in the mythical town of Tequila in the state of Jalisco, the 1959 El Tequileno distillery benefits from an exceptional terroir enhanced by the volcanic, mineral-rich spring water of the Tequila Volcano, to which the distillery is one of the few to have access.
In autumn 2020, El Tequileño launched its new Añejo tequila, an exclusive collaboration between master winemaker Randy Ullom, Gran Tequilero Antonio Salles and master distiller Tony Salles.
Aged to perfection, this tequila is a blend of 2-year-old Añejo aged in American and French oak barrels, and 6-year-old Extra Anejo. This perfect marriage gives this tequila great depth and complexity.
