This Glenburgie 30 Year Old 1995 #205 Pedro Ximénez is a sumptuous interpretation of this Speyside distillery, elevated by three decades of ageing and the lush sweetness of a PX cask. Founded in 1810 near Forres, Glenburgie is a discreet yet highly respected Speyside name. Known for its generous, orchard-fruit character, it has long been a key component of prestigious blends (especially Ballantine’s), but as a single malt it shines through its elegance, fullness, and natural charm. With extended ageing, the spirit develops pastry-like notes, deeper fruit tones and a refined, silky structure.
In this PX cask, Glenburgie is enriched with layers of dried fruits, caramel, spiced cake and chocolate while retaining the finesse of its malt.
