Founded in 2012, Rest & Be Thankful is not only renowned for its bottlings of Octomore, Port Charlotte and Bruichladdich, but also for its selections of Jamaican rums. With an ester content of between 900 and 1,000 grams per hectolitre of pure alcohol, this version falls into the <> H (Diamond H) category of the Hampden distillery's marks.
Particularly rich, it reveals a succession of sequences, each more evocative than the last. Abhorring the consensual, its range of aromas and flavours is reminiscent of a highly peated Islay single malt, a vin jaune from the Jura or a fine Andalusian sherry.
