    From a family estate in central Jamaica, this molasses rum was distilled in copper pot stills and aged four years on the island in bourbon barrels before being shipped to the UK. Once there, Elixir transferred it into rum barrels for a slower, seven-year maturation. This small batch of 2 casks was bottled in 2025. The rum opens with an intense nose reminiscent of a boiling pot: clove-studded blood orange stewing with rhubarb, accompanied by baked banana. The palate is dense, warm, and comforting, with bitter orange, almond flakes, cardamom, allspice, and sultanas blended into a banana bread-like mixture. The finish reveals delicate floral notes of orange blossom and honeysuckle. The Rum Trail range celebrates the great rum terroirs through authentic bottlings carefully selected by Sukhinder Singh, offering a faithful and unique experience.
