With an ester content of between 240 and 250 grams per hectolitre of pure alcohol, this version, which forms part of the prestigious Wild Parrot Collection created by the Italian trading house Hidden Spirits in 2013, falls into the EMB category (formerly known as Bog Estate Mark) of rums produced by the Clarendon distillery, founded in 1949. It's a particularly dense rum, like a play full of twists and turns, with a range of aromas and flavours divided into three distinct stages. The first is very fruity, the second empyreumatic and the third mineral. But beyond these striking differences, they all share the same richness and seductive power.
