Kanosuke Distillery is located near the beach in southern Kagoshima, where the second generation Mr Kanosuke described it as having the most beautiful sunset in Japan Their whiskies are born in this unique climate, with great heart going into producing their whiskies every day
Single Malt Kanosuke, which uses a very small portion of peat, is made in three different pot stills and aged in re charred American white oak, which was previously used for the infamous “Mellowed Kozuru aged shochu casks, as well as a small portion of sherry casks.
