La Fée Parisienne is made according to a 19th century recipe from 9 different herbs, among which are: grand wormwood, fennel, lemon balm, anise, mint and coriander. Each cuvée is controlled by the founder of the Musée de l'Absinthe located in Auvers sur Oise, Marie-Claude Delahaye. When tasting this absinthe, one inevitably thinks of the great artists who sometimes found their source of inspiration in it. The first nose oscillates between liquorice, star anise and aromatic plants (thyme, oregano). With water, it opens on notes of white mint and peppermint. The mouth is finely liquorice. Coriander, star anise and ginger constitute its heart of heating. The finish is delicately smoky and roasted (tobacco). As an apotheosis, a fine tarry film comes to cover the stick of liquorice. This new format 20cl allows to discover this alcohol forgotten formerly and to benefit from all its savours.
