A batch of four refill Sherry Butts from the Macduff distillery was carefully selected by Oliver Chilton, master blender at Elixir Distillers, to create this single malt, distilled in 2011 and aged for over 12 years.
The Single Malts of Scotland Small Batch releases are bottled in small batches of 3 to 10 casks. Each bottling showcases the diversity of Scotland’s styles and flavors, as well as the angel’s share unique to each region. Bottled at 48% without coloring or chill filtration, they appeal to both newcomers and seasoned whisky enthusiasts alike.
