For the 6th expression in the limited 4200-bottle Master Blender Collection worldwide, Trudiann, the Master Blender, has created an exclusive new blend with some of the oldest stocks of Mount Gay rums.
Mount Gay Sherry Cask is a blend of rums aged for 20 years in ex-American whisky casks. Thanks to the heat and humidity of Barbados, the intense aromas of burnt oak and toasted vanilla are accentuated. To add a further level of aromatic complexity, the liquid is aged for a further year in Pedro Ximenez Sherry wine casks. This process adds roundness, candied fruit, cherry and plum aromas and hints of nuts to the blend.
DID YOU KNOW? In keeping with its commitment to sustainability, the Mount Gay distillery has replaced the metal eyelets on the cartons with cardboard inserts to ensure the recyclability of the packaging
