Vendanges de Tinta Negra is a voyage of the senses into the subtropical climate of Portugal's volcanic islands. This small batch is produced from a malted barley distillate and aged entirely for 3 years in old Madeira casks, a fortified red wine with oxidative flavors. This unique ageing gives this single malt a gourmand, Madeira-like profile, dominated by pleasant notes of prune, walnut, currant and toasted almond.
