Founded in 2018 by La Maison & Velier, the Port-au-Prince distillery is located on a former estate once known as Sarthe Providence. Developed by renowned Italian distiller Gianni Capovilla, its first white rums—First Drops and Dunder & Syrup—were released in 2019 and 2021 respectively, followed in 2022 by its first aged expression, matured for three years. Both fresh and smooth, this edition freely navigates between youthful vibrancy and mature depth. Notes of agave, lemon, linden honey and verbena punctuate the tasting, beautifully illustrating this proudly embraced duality.
