Volcán Añejo Cristalino is a blend of tequila aged and extra aged in American oak barrels (Añejo: 1 year in barrels / Extra aged: 3 years in barrels). Both liquids go through a clarification process with activated carbon, which removes the colour of the ageing, leaving a slight straw tone. Made from 100% Blue Weber agave, Volcán de mi Tierra selects the best agave from the two most important regions of Jalisco (Valles and Altos). These agaves are processed separately to maximise their qualities, combining them in the end to obtain a complex and elegant liquid.
