 Irish through and through, Bushmills is the heir to a tradition over 400 years old that produces a single malt completely free of peat. Triple distilled, its new-make spirit is poured-off at an impressive 85%. After the addition of some much-needed water, it is matured in a wide variety of casks. Bushmills invests heavily in a meticulously-chosen supply of barrels from the United States, France, Andalusia, Portugal, Sicily and the Caribbean. This rare diversity enables Bushmills to create individual expressions, whilst preserving the undeniable “Irishness” of its whiskey.
