A white grape variety that takes its name from the Italian village of Tramin an der Weinstraße, Traminer aromatico is another name for the Gewürztraminer that is highly popular in the Trentino-Alto Adige/South Tyrol region. Grappa di Traminer is an eau de vie made from a single grape variety marc, or 'monovitigno'. Characterised by notes of yuzu, citron, lime, herbs, spices and flowers, this is a refreshing, spring-like grappa.
