Produced from R579 sugar cane, commonly known as red cane, grown by the sea in the clay-limestone soils of the Le Moule area in the far east of the island of Grande Terre, this version was left to rest for 450 days, or 15 months, in vats before being very slightly reduced to 64%.
Initially evocative, with fruity aromas and flavours (pear, apple) followed by remarkably lively lemony tones, its aromatic and taste palette then leads us, as if in reverse, towards notes of sugar and cane juice of great suavity.
